City of Perth has significantly enhanced the way it handles emergency and crisis functions both internally and externally using eMERGE portal – the City’s electronic (SharePoint based) Emergency Management Portal.
The portal allows for readily accessible (anytime, anywhere, any device) information on emergency contacts, resources, calendars (events, disruptions, meetings and training), running sheets (including action and debrief functions) and library.
The City is offering its electronic Emergency Portal eMERGE to local governments and will host a forum for councils who are interested in using it.
This forum will present eMERGE and detail how the platform can be shared to benefit other local governments.
