The sixteenth annual Tech in Gov expo is almost here

Tech in Gov 2022, considered one of the Most important Event for ICT in Government, will open its doors at the National Convention Centre Canberra on 25-26 October 2022. With 100 speakers and eight central themes, Tech in Gov is the most comprehensive cross-sector event for government, IT, and executive level professionals in Australia. Each year, 2,000+ of them descend on Canberra to see the latest technology, learn new insights, connect with their peers and do business.

Across two days, Tech in Gov unites buyers such as ICT Managers, Chief Information, Data, Technology and Security Officers from Federal, State and Local Government, government business enterprises and national critical infrastructure and connects them with leading industry solution providers who showcase the most essential technologies, products, and service for digital innovation.

The Tech in Gov exhibition features over 100 of the industry’s pioneers and leaders in ICT solutions including Telstra, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services and much more. The Tech in Gov conference is renowned for a world-class program delivering new insights into all the major trends and developments within the world of Cyber Security, Digital Transformation, Identity and Biometrics, IoT and more. This year’s conference has been expanded to eight conference tracks including new topics within Big Data and BI, Cloud and Enhanced Connectivity, Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Technology and Innovation.

Over 100 inspirational and insightful speakers will be presenting at Tech in Gov, including many experts from Federal and State government departments and agencies.

– Abigail Bradshaw, Head of the Australian Cyber Security Centre and Deputy Director-General, Australian Signals Directorate will be speaking on “Countering the growing cyber threats against government, private organisations and industry”

– Kavita Kewal, Assistant Secretary, Identity and Biometrics Policy and Strategy Branch, Department of Home Affairs, will be discussing “Identity management and guiding the future of biometrics in Australia”

– Dr Dale Lambert, Chief Information Sciences Division, Defence Science and Technology Group, will present on “Protecting Australians in the new information environment”
