The beginning of the end of frustrating trimming*

If great trimming is what you are after, look no further than Curagul Stud. Its CHAMP II Multi Line Brushcutter Replacement Head is an innovative, Australian made replacement brushcutter head featuring innovative design and performance like no other.

Highly engineered from marine grade aluminium, the head comprises only three parts and none moving. It is simple to load and users regularly achieve nonstop trimming for up to two hours.

The CHAMP will adapt to all straight shaft brushcutters that will accept a blade.

Curagul Stud’s extensive and varied nationwide customer list includes more than 400 councils using over 5,000 heads, government agencies, road traffic authorities, racecourses, golf courses and more.

New South Wales Road Traffic Authority Supervisor – Hunter Road Services, Des Jeffery, said he has been using the CHAMP brushcutter head and its forerunners for five years.

“With our line of maintenance, we have found there is less accidents involving broken windscreens and cars being hit with rocks since using these heads,” he said. “We have found also that the SuperCut line lasts longer in the heavy going.”

Originally imported, the CHAMP is now manufactured in Australia under an Australian Design Registration. Many improvements have been made to the original design to suit Australian conditions, including a stronger cutting cylinder design, more release holes and spanner flats.

Using fixed length line, the CHAMP avoids the many problems associated with continuous line.

It is usually loaded with three lines making six cutters, however it can be loaded with 12 cutters on two tiers using six lines.

The large number of lines means that wear is spread evenly over more cutting line, which in turn makes for extended nonstop cutting time.

SuperCut 3.6 millimetres AF square profile line is specified and offered pre cut to the recommended length.

The CHAMP’s success is attributed to its unique and simplified design, hard wearing characteristics, ease of loading, good operator satisfaction, maintenance free operation, locally made spare parts, a release spanner (for professional users) and availability of SuperCut line.
