Seniors keep active in Burwood

Whether seniors enjoy a refreshing yoga session, a knitting class or a regular social trip to an exciting location, Burwood offers a range of programs to ensure they pursue a healthy lifestyle and remain active participants in the community.

Woodstock is a thriving community centre where the majority of Council’s seniors programs are held. There are weekly exercise classes including yoga, as well as drawing, painting, crochet and knitting classes.

Council also offers a range of activities to encourage older members of the community to develop a vibrant social life through the senior’s social group. The group meets regularly, goes on outings and hosts guest speakers with expertise on a variety of topics.
