Pacific Software to market CivicView system *

Local Governments now have even more reason to consider CivicView, the Local Government Integrated Software solution from Insight Informatics, with the appointment of Pacific Software as the exclusive marketing, implementation and support organisation for this state of the art system.

CivicView was developed in 1998 in conjunction with Kempsey Shire Council. This fully integrated software solution for Local Government currently has seven implemented sites, with over 320 users ranging in size from 2,700 to 35,000 properties.

Sam Patane, Director of Insight, sees huge opportunities for the CivicView product line.

“I am delighted that Pacific Software is becoming part of the future of CivicView,” he said. “Pacific has been successful in the Australian information industry for many years and has built a highly regarded business around customer focus and a quality product set.

“I see this alliance of a strong sales and implementation focus linked with an aggressive development company as an ideal way to meet the needs of Local Government clients.”

The existing client base is enthusiastic about this development and is keen to see CivicView succeed.

Insight Informatics Pty Ltd is the developer of CivicView Integrated Local Government software and Libero Library Management software.

Libero Library Management system is installed in over 100 Australian libraries and more than 150 sites in Europe with more than 1,750 users.

Pacific Software Pty Ltd has national and international clients including Australian Red Cross, BOC, Grainco, Mobil, Retravision and The Uniting Church.
