The new Mini Fun Box

Cheaper alternative for skateboarders

Following extensive interest in the award winning Mobile Fun Box from Councils around Australia, Skateramps Australia has now added a smaller, more cost effective model to its fleet.

Designed specifically to meet the budgets of smaller local authorities, Skateramps Australia has developed a slightly smaller, scaled down portable model. The Mini Fun Box retains the basic attributes of the original, larger model, but has economy in mind.

It is suitable for skateboarders, roller bladers, scooter and BMX riders and caters for both beginners and advanced users.

Mounted on its own complete trailer chassis, the Mini Fun Box has pivoting fold down front and rear ramps. The encased sides pivot downwards, complete with full length grind blocks attached on each side. The unit is completely self supporting on its own framework and the undersides are fully encased, preventing unwanted access.

Being portable, it can be placed on any bitumen surface, including car parks and netball courts. It is easily packed up and can be towed with a standard vehicle to a new location.

The Mini Fun Box and the full size Mobile Fun Box incorporate all the safety and design features of Skateramps fixed skating facilities.

When set up for use, the units are completely secure and immobile, providing hours of fun for skaters. Last year, Hindmarsh Shire Council won the Victorian division of the National Heart Foundation Local Government Awards for a Small Rural and Remote Community Project with its installation of the larger Mobile Fun Box.
