Value adding puts investigators in front

For the past 16 years Education Design Systems has offered a variety of courses to meet investigative and protective services educational needs. Central to this is the popular three day Investigation Methods Course which deals with all aspects of the investigation of administrative, disciplinary and regulation breaches as well as the investigation process for criminal matters.

Education Design Systems now offers a range of supplementary courses to expand specific aspects of the Investigation Methods Course. The new courses deal with Investigative Interviewing Skills, obtaining Factual Statements from witnesses and Intelligence Procedures for Investigators.

These courses develop and enhance investigative skills and processes, assisting investigators to effectively gauge and react to issues uncovered during investigations and to use these skills to develop efficient and effective strategic responses to generic issues.

The courses focus on the practical implementation of investigative best practice, and are conducted in an interactive and sequential learning environment where participants are encouraged to share their experiences and perspectives on the role of investigator and of the ethics and attributes necessary for the effective performance of that role.

Education Design Systems courses are ideal for Local Government investigators or regulatory officers, human resources professionals, indeed any person who has a statutory authority to investigate.

In house courses can be tailored for the needs of specific clients. Full details of the courses can be found on Education Design Systems web site at www.educationdesignsystems.com.au
