Getting the job done right*

For construction works it is important to establish a firm bedding upon which to build. If soil compaction is not done properly, settling will occur and the structure will be damaged. In turf care, compaction ensures a flat surface after turf is laid. Granular soils, such as sand and gravel, do not require a high impact to free up and shear the particles. Therefore, vibration via vibratory plate compactors provides the best compaction results for granular soils prior to pouring concrete, laying or patching asphalt.

Crommelins plate compactors have excellent manoeuvrability, and their versatility, relatively low cost and ease of maintenance make them a popular choice in compaction jobs for roads and footpaths and landscaping works.

Crommelins compactors can work within a corner and can compact around most objects without concerns of tearing up the compacted surface by performing tight turns.

Crommelins has five compactors in their range, all powered by reliable Subaru Japanese engines, with two years engine warranty.
