Have you met your obligations in emergency management?*

Local Government is clearly identified as having a major role in making information and physical resources available to assist the emergency services and take a lead role during the recovery from an incident. IFAP can help you meet your responsibilities under your emergency management/disaster legislation.

“The community will appreciate your efforts in being prepared when you are delivering the required level of support to residents in the aftermath of a disaster impact and taking leadership of the recovery activities,” said IFAP Operations Manager – Crisis and Emergency Management, Keith Harraway.

The Local Government level provides the greatest percentage of face to face services all over the world. While constituents may not provide active encouragement in the formulation of emergency preparedness measures, they will surely expect appropriate arrangements to be in place when they are suffering from the impact of a disaster.

Prudent Local Governments will appreciate the return on investment in such instances when residents show they are pleased to be living in a community with a proactive local emergency management committee.

IFAP has documented plans and procedures for a wide range of clients across a large number of diverse industries from a wide range of business sectors. Clients can be guaranteed they are receiving quality training as IFAP’s consultants are Internationally Accredited Workplace Trainers and Assessors.

The impressive lineup of high profile speakers will cover the four stages of emergency management – prevention, preparedness, response and recovery – focusing on improving systems as a result of lessons learned. Keynote speakers have been secured from Local Government.
