The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia (NSW) is delighted to extend an invitation to attend the 54th Annual Engineers Field Days – CivEnEx 2009 – to be staged from 21 to 23 May at Western Sydney International Dragway, Eastern Creek.
“This venue provides great open space and all weather sealed access to sites and we are in the process of enlarging the site with plans under way for a new permanent pavilion,” said Stewart McLeod, Director Technical Services at Dubbo City Council and IPWEA (NSW) Board Member.
CivEnEx remains the premier industry exhibition of its type in Australia specifically tailored for those in Local Government and the public works industry.
“How much money is your Council getting this year from Mr Rudd to save the economy?” Stewart McLeod said. “You only have until September to spend it don’t forget.
“Whatever your Council was fortunate enough to be granted, don’t forget CivEnEx as your one stop shop for design assistance, plant, playground equipment, irrigation gear, special paving products, outdoor lighting, pits, pipes – you name it, you’ll see it at CivEnEx.”
CivEnEx 2009 continues the proud tradition of being presented by engineers, for engineers.
As a not for profit organisation, IPWEA ensures that the proceeds from the event go towards assisting those in the public works industry.
“Again we have fantastic support from the industry and CivEnEx is the perfect complement to our Annual Sydney Conference held from 18 to 20 May,” Stewart McLeod said.
“This year we ask that all members, colleagues, staff and contractors make a special effort to attend CivEnEx. Given the difficult economic climate it is important that we support our suppliers, that have made a special effort to exhibit at the show.
