The City of Bayswater has been working with Morley residents and businesses to prepare a master plan to guide the area’s future development as a ‘strategic city centre’ of
regional significance.
As part of the project, consultants Hames Sharley produced four themes to guide Morley’s future urban design, potential built form, landscaping, public open spaces and streetscapes.
The four themes – Civic Morley, Live Morley, Green Morley and Link Morley – were presented at two open days arranged for local businesses and residents.
The aim of the themes is to facilitate the creation of a vibrant and sustainable city centre, making it ideal as a location for families, local businesses and the wider community, while also creating an activity hub to embrace many types of lifestyles.
