Waste no longer means landfill

Integrated Recycling (IR) is the latest member of the Integrated Packaging Group and is the link that enables waste plastic to be recreated as engineered endurance products. As market leader in the manufacture of industrial stretch film and agricultural wrap film, Integrated Packaging is committed to dealing with waste plastic in environmentally appropriate ways.

A significant amount of plastic ends as waste, but using Integrated Recycling’s patented technology, waste no longer means landfill. IR’s technology enables the group to recycle agricultural and other polyethylene based plastics into a range of timber substitute products.

In fact not only does less waste go to landfill, but the products will lead to less destruction of forests. In many cases the products made by Integrated Recycling are more suited to the task for which they are designed than using timber.

IR’s primary markets are agriculture, aquaculture, building and construction industries, parks and streetscapes, landscaping and gardening. This company’s range of products includes posts, bollards, stakes, decking, garden and park furniture.

There are a number of reasons for people choosing products made from IR’s recycled plastic. IR’s easy to handle products are continually recyclable, non toxic and washable, can be drilled, screwed and stapled, resist breakage and do not splinter, and are lightweight and easily transportable.

Products made from its patented recycled plastic material will generally outlast those products traditionally made from wood. This is because our products are unaffected by extreme climates, UV, pests, water, rot or salty environments and are non leeching.
