Randwick launches DA lodgement online

Property owners in Randwick City who are looking to renovate or modify their homes can now lodge their Development Application (DA) online.

Randwick City Council Mayor, Councillor Tony Bowen acknowledged that renovating a property and preparing a DA can be complex and stressful for residents, and that the online lodgement process was designed to make it a little bit easier.

“Online DA lodgement is part of Council’s commitment to make doing business with us easier and quicker. With more and more people using the Internet it’s increasingly expected that Council services are online as well,” Mayor Bowen said.

The new online DA lodgement means data is automatically entered into Council’s computer system, saving time and also speeding up the DA process.
Residents can also view and make comments on Development Applications in their area using Council’s unique iPhone app ‘myRANDWICK’. Residents can track DAs and receive notifications when the application is determined or share content through social media.
