Albany Regional Day Care has been awarded a rating of “exceeding” by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority, one of the highest ratings a service can achieve under the National Quality Framework.

A rating of “exceeding” is achieved when the day care provider meets the expectations of the National Quality Framework’s seven quality areas; educational program and practice, children’s health and safety, physical environment, staffing arrangements, relationships with children, collaborative partnerships with families and community and leadership and service management.

City of Albany Manager Day Care Services Letitia Stone said the rating was a strong reflection of the staff and service provided at Albany Regional Day Care.

“I am so incredibly proud of my staff and all they achieved in 2015 and the rating is proof of their dedication and passion for the job.

“At the Albany Regional Day Care we constantly strive to provide children with the best possible environment during their developmental years and we will continue to do so.”

City of Albany Deputy Mayor Greg Stocks congratulated the Day Care on behalf of Council and staff on their achievement.

All day care providers in Australia are rated by the Authority to ensure the quality of education and care services meet the National Quality Framework.
