Enhancing the user experience

The City’s new site is ideal for mobile devices.

The City of South Perth has launched a new user-friendly website.

The site went live on Monday 29 August. Developed over 12 months, the site provides visitors with an improved user experience offering enhanced content and increased
functionality.

Starting on the home page, people are able to quickly and easily navigate across all sections and pages to access the information they are looking for.

Notably, the website and its content are formatted to be user-friendly for everyone. All users have access to information and functionality.
The design is both responsive and accessible as it enables the site to automatically change to fit the screen of the device it is viewed on, whether it be a mobile phone or tablet.

“This project is the result of an extensive period of research and development, with a considerable amount of time having been invested in creating this, the City’s new website,” said Mayor Sue Doherty.

“It offers a vastly improved user experience and will allow people to easily share content direct to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn so they can keep their friends and family up to date with what’s happening in the City.

“I’m looking forward to hearing what our community thinks about the fresh new look and navigation capacity and I invite their feedback now the site is live.”
