The City of Adelaide’s planning and development team has made improvements to planning processes that will save time and make processes easier for customers.
Interactive Development Application Registers have been introduced, providing a searchable snapshot of development application data. Property owners, precinct groups and the development industry will all benefit from having access to this information 24/7 on the website.
Further benefits for residents and businesses include the introduction of a new online application form for Heritage Incentive Scheme Grants and the introduction of new online development application forms for solar panels and rainwater tanks for residential properties.
Lord Mayor, Martin Haese, welcomed the moves that have been made to provide quick and easy customer service from an organisation that is continually striving to be smart, open, accessible and transparent.
“Combined, these improvements are a great example of the City of Adelaide’s commitment to improving the customer experience.
“This is about supporting and driving city development, being an open, accessible and transparent Council and becoming a Smart City and Smart Organisation.”
