Snowy Monaro Regional Council, New South Wales, streetscape enhancements are set to boost the economic and social viability of towns across the region.
Draft concept designs for nine of the ten towns benefiting from streetscape upgrades were made available for community comment on Council’s Your Say website.
Streetscape revitalisations are an integral part of the $14 million Stronger Communities Fund Major Projects rollout.
Mayor, John Rooney, said, “It’s an exciting time across the region as our towns and villages receive important streetscape upgrades.
“The Project Team has been working closely with each community to come up with draft concept designs.”
The designs outline the vision for each town, and provide an opportunity for locals to have their say.
