The Shire of Woodanilling, Western Australia, have been successful in their Grant Application for $42,000 through Lotterywest for the installation of two banks of Outdoor Exercise Equipment.
The equipment was purchased in response to feedback from a 2017 community survey which showed considerable interest in the Shire installing outdoor fitness equipment.
The community had some great ideas on the types of equipment as well as where they would like to see it positioned.
The banks of equipment have been placed at the Recreation Centre and also at Centenary Park to create an exercise circuit.
The equipment is low impact high cardio to suit all age groups.
A second successful grant application from the Department of Transport is for additional infrastructure at Lake Queerearup.
