Storytime turns twenty

Coffs Harbour City Council Libraries’ Storytime celebrated its 20th birthday last month with special birthday stories and, of course there was cake.

As an additional gift an extra weekly Saturday morning Storytime session was added to Toormina Library’s activities in the same week.

Library Operations and Programs Coordinator, Catherine Turner, said, “The fact that Storytime has turned 20 goes to show just how important and enjoyable kids, parents and carers continue to find these incredibly popular – and free – sessions.

“Storytime is held on different week days at all three of our branches, but we recognise how that’s not convenient for everyone.

“So we’re starting a special Saturday morning Storytime at Toormina Library for those families who have more time at a weekend to enjoy sharing the fun with their kids.”
