Working together Lachlan Shire Council and Felton Industries transform community spaces*

Felton Industries is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of Australian made premium aluminium outdoor furniture.

With a wide range of quality grandstands, tiered seating, bench seating, tables and chairs, shelters, bin surrounds and change room furniture, Felton provide quality outdoor furniture to parks, councils, clubs, schools and organisations Australia wide.

Lachlan Shire Council is situated in the heart of the Western Plains region and has the largest geographic council area in Central West New South Wales stretching across almost 15,000 square kilometres.

When making improvements to a range of public amenities, Council consulted Felton Industries.

Felton’s experience in designing and manufacturing premium outdoor furniture for streets, parks and recreation areas across Australia was invaluable when it came to recommending the right product.

To upgrade seating in a refurbished playground area in Memorial park, Felton’s above ground bench seats with backrests were the ideal choice.

On request, the bench design was modified to include armrests.

Blending perfectly with the modern play equipment, they combine accessibility and comfort with the durability and safety needed for a child-friendly area.

When it came to refitting the central bus stop, it was clear passengers would benefit from the protection of Felton’s modular bus shelters.

All four shelters were powder coated blue prior to installation to match Council’s design scheme.

At the local skate park development, Council required disability inclusive seating and Felton Industries had the perfect settings.

Two interactive wheelchair settings, designed to accommodate wheelchairs, allow everyone to enjoy the park.

At Pat Timmons Oval, the changing rooms needed a new look.

Felton’s aluminium gym changing room seating proved an excellent choice; easy to keep clean, hygienic, strong and durable.

Customising products to suit requirements is something Felton specialise in.
