IT professionals who currently hold MCSE certification in NT4 are running out of time to update their certification to Windows 2000. The deadline to fast track this upgrade is 31 December, 2001. After this time, anyone who seeks MCSE certification will need to pass the complete path of windows 2000 exams. The Windows 2000 certification has seven exams.

By fast tracking the upgrade, it is possible to sit for one exam (70-240) which replaces the first four core exams of the Windows 2000 stream 70-210, 70-215, 70-216 and 70-217.

Exam 70-240 expires at the end of this year. Educom is the only Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centre who offers the five day course Accelerated Windows 2000 Training for NT Support Professionals. This course prepares students for the 70-240 exam. Microsoft is offering the upgrade exam free of charge on the first attempt. To complete the certification upgrade, students will need to pass one 5th core exam and two electives.

Educom provides technical training services to Local Government under the Federal Government endorsed supplier agreement and is certified by the following software vendors: Microsoft, Novell, Lotus, Macromedia, Citrix, Cisco, Prosoft and CompTIA. Some courses are available after hours.

The internet is one of the fastest growing areas of certification and courses are now available in Certified Internet Webmaster through Prosoft certification.
