The smart future for your Council

The City of Whittlesea will present its Third Annual Technology Innovation Conference on Friday 14 February 2003. The Conference will help equip Local Government and its partners to build strategies to provide new ways of communicating, providing services and doing business, for a new generation of connected communities.

The Conference will offer Australian and overseas experts, dealing with the following issues.

  • Strategy – Intelligent Cities, now and in 2020, positioning yourself for the future.
  • eGovernment – transformation through customer service and aligning investment and action to citizens’ needs
  • eCommunity – what broadbanding offers communities, and models for smart delivery in new and established neighbourhoods.
  • Case study – forecasting, finance and feasibility.
  • Case study – Broadbanding in the ACT, the planning and the results.

For community planners and developers, the City of Whittlesea Technology Innovation Conference will show you what can be done, what is being done, how it is being done and what you should do. This exciting national conference will put you in the driving seat to plan and implement a smart future for your community.

The third annual City of Whittlesea Technology Innovation Conference, Intelligent Cities: The Smart Future for your Council, will take place at the Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre, South Morang, Melbourne. The Centre is easily accessible from the Metropolitan Ring Road and just minutes from Melbourne Airport.
