BPAYOnline services reduce carbon footprint

The City of Gosnells is reducing its carbon footprint and fighting climate change by allowing residents to receive and pay their rates notices online, with the introduction of BPAY View®.

Residents can now opt to use BPAY View that will send City of Gosnells rate notices direct to their online bank.

With convenient email, SMS or bank message reminders for bills and secure online or mobile access, BPAY View makes it easy to pay on time, every time.

City of Gosnells Mayor Dave Griffiths said the introduction of BPAY View provides the City with an opportunity to reduce printing and postage costs, which has a positive impact on the environment.

“The City is always looking at ways to minimise its carbon footprint and BPAY View is another way of doing this.

“It also provides the City with an opportunity to save on printing and postage costs, allowing this expenditure to be spent on community facilities and services.”

Once registered, residents will be able to view bills 24/7 over the internet and be notified when a new bill arrives.

There are also options to itemise bills and their due dates, reprint bills, make immediate payments or schedule payments for a later date.

Paper notices will no longer be issued once residents are registered with BPAY View, which will be rolled out this month.
