Delegation from Central Java

Logan City Council and students at Browns Plains State High School have welcomed a government delegation from Indonesia.

His Excellency Mr H. Ganjar Pranowo SH Governor of Central Java is currently visiting Queensland with education and planning officials from the Central Java Province.

Students and staff of the school greeted the delegation, which Councillor Cherie Dalley said will help to strengthen ties between the two regions.

“Central Java Province is a sister state of Queensland and it was fantastic to have the delegation in Logan to experience the diverse multiculturalism of the area.”

During the visit a memorandum of understanding was signed to extend the sister school agreement between Browns Plains State High School and SMAN 1 Salatiga in Central Java.
