A dose of culture while you recharge

Dubbo Regional Council, New South Wales, has worked closely with TESLA and NRMA to deliver the region’s first public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.

The charging stations will be built within the Western Plains Cultural Centre car park.

TESLA will maintain four superchargers for use by TESLA vehicle owners, while NRMA will maintain a fast charger for universal use by NRMA members and the public.

The automotive industry in Dubbo is expected to expand with increases in the sales and service of electric vehicles.

Placing the new vehicle chargers in the Cultural Centre car park will invite tourists and travellers to visit the centre as they fill in time while their vehicles charge.
