Bathurst Winter Festival

LiveBetter All Abilities day will make up just one of the special events at this year’s Bathurst Winter Festival.

City of Bathurst, New South Wales, will once again be transformed into a hub of excitement, creativity and fun with the Bathurst Winter Festival from 6-21 July.

Mayor, Graeme Hanger OAM, said the event is a perfect opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy the festive atmosphere of feasting and fun the region’s winter weather demands.

“The occasion is a perfect time for our community to get together, and visitors to our region to come into the city in what is usually a
quiet time of year.”

Twilight markets and roving performers will add to the festive air while local brewers and food vendors keep festival patrons warm and fed showing off their produce on Brew and Bite Saturday and again on Groove and Grill Sunday.

The Winter Playground will feature the McDonald’s Bathurst Ice Rink, a ferris wheel and a two storey carousel running every day
and into the evening.

Special sessions for children, experienced skaters and adults will be offered at McDonald’s Bathurst Ice Rink.

Cosmic Paradise is the theme for this year’s illuminations. Each night from sundown the buildings of Bathurst will shine as static and interactive illuminations breathe life into the historic architecture throughout the city’s central business district.
