New CPEE Graduate Certificate in Asset Management commences in 2021*

Australia is currently experiencing the largest ever construction build of infrastructure in many states across the country.

The focus on delivering such projects as a pathway to recovery post COVID-19 means delivering excellence in infrastructure, roads, construction, and transport.

Understanding, managing and optimising the asset base sustainably in this environment is essential for success.

In response, Centre for Pavement Engineering Education (CPEE) has launched the new four-unit Graduate Certificate in Asset Management, commencing in Semester 1, 2021.

This Graduate Certificate program directly addresses upskilling in the area of infrastructure with the two core units being Asset Management Principles and Economics of Financial Management, supported by the choice of two electives.

CPEE Chief Executive Officer, Madeleine McManus OAM, said, “Asset performance, optimisation, sustainability and management are essential principles which underpin best practice.

“Gaining a depth of knowledge in this area via the newly developed course will accelerate your understanding in an area which is thriving and will position you well for future success.”

This Graduate Certificate is aimed at asset managers (both aspiring and those who already working) who want to sharpen and formalise their skills and has been endorsed by the Asset Management Council of Australia (AMCouncil).

The program has been designed to be delivered fully online with ongoing interaction with Unit Chairs during the semester.

The Semester One core unit Asset Management Principles meets continuing professional development (CPD) requirements for Engineers Australia.

For road and engineering professionals, CPEE also provides formal qualifications and CPD to help career progression with its highly regarded online eight-unit Master of Pavement Technology and four-unit Graduate Certificate in Pavement Technology.

Single Units may be selected to suit the need to update specific knowledge areas and become more productive in the workplace.

Enrol now for a start date of 15 February.
