2008 LG Asset Management and Public Works Engineering Conference

Have you reserved 9–10 April 2008 in your diary to attend what
will arguably be the most progressive and informative civil engineering conference staged in Victoria for more than a decade?

To be held at Telstra Dome, the 2008 Local Government Asset Management and Public Works Engineering Conference will be an event not to be missed by any public works practitioner. With nationally and internationally renowned keynote speakers, this conference will provide a unique opportunity for delegates to attend sessions in three streams, one of which will be entirely focused on asset management. Other subjects that will expose delegates to innovation, new processes and proven experiences include waste management; traffic and transport; water sensitive urban design; project management; road design and construction; climate change and sustainability; and tendering and contract management.

A high quality dinner on the first night, supported by an entertaining speaker and presentation of key awards, will allow delegates to relax, network, renew acquaintances and enjoy the ambience of the Docklands precinct.

The annual conference will complement two other cost effective conferences that support the enhancement of skills in our industry, such as the Annual Civil Construction Conference in July 2008 and the National Works and Engineering Conference in September 2008.

Further information and registration details for the 2008 Local Government Asset Management and Public Works Engineering Conference will be available shortly, but in the meantime, please mark your diary to be part of this landmark event. In addition, begin to brief your Councillors about the benefits they would gain by attending with you.
