BCA 2010 Information Seminars*

Updates to the Building Code of Australia (BCA) for 2010 have been finalised and all building industry practitioners need to know what changes are coming into effect.

Commencing in late March 2010, presenters from the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) will inform building industry practitioners of these changes at a series of information seminars in capital cities across the country.

If you are involved in the building industry, the half day seminars are an important learning opportunity that will update you on the amendments to the BCA.

A major focus of this year’s seminars is energy efficiency. Participants will hear about the changes affecting a majority of States and Territories, which have been incorporated into BCA 2010.

Handbooks providing detail on these provisions will be included in seminar satchels, along with other key information relating to the amendment.

If you are involved in the building and construction industry then you should attend.

BCA 2010 takes effect on 1 May 2010.

For more information and to register visit the ABCB website at www.abcb.gov.au

Don’t miss out!

The ABCB is proud to support the (Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Airconditioning and Heating) afternoon information workshops on Section J (Volume One), which will be held at the majority of locations.

Please note that you will need to register separately for these sessions and that the AIRAH workshops will not necessarily be conducted on all days of the ABCB seminars.
