Creating confidence to care

Emergency First Response is a global CPR, Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and First Aid training organisation with more than 26,000 instructors world wide, providing CPR and First Aid courses to the layperson, community groups and in workplaces.

Emergency First Response courses follow the consensus view of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). They cover adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills, and incorporate Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training and emergency oxygen use.

Courses include:

  • Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid)
  • Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
  • Care for Children (Department of Community Services approved)
  • Emergency First Response First Aid at Work (Asia Pacific).

The First Aid at Work course is specifically designed to meet workplace requirements in Australia and is approved in New South Wales (WorkCover NSW approval No. 01346), Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania.

Industries currently using First Aid at Work include roofing, food manufacturing companies, schools, food markets, rescue divers, diving instructors, sports and fitness coaches and hotel resort staff.

The Emergency First Response Instructor course enables employers to have full control of First Aid training. This cost effective course allows nominated staff to deliver CPR and First Aid in the workplace at a time which suits individual work schedules and shift patterns without the need to out source trainers or send staff offsite to complete a course.
