John Ravlic has been appointed the new CEO of Local Government Managers Australia’s national office and will commence duties on 14 December 2005.
John is from Melbourne and has been operating his own business for the last five years, providing marketing solutions to the private and public sectors. Prior to this he worked for the City of Perth. The first ten years of John’s career involved a variety of Local Government roles in Melbourne and Perth where he worked in various executive positions with the then City of Sandringham in Victoria and City of Melville in WA.
John has a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Master in Leadership and Management. John will replace Jim Elvey who was the CEO of LGMA for the past eight years, and is now headed for a well deserved retirement.
