Who’s who at Holdfast Bay

Adelaide’s Holdfast Bay was established in 1997 following the amalgamation of the former Glenelg and Brighton Councils. Extensive customer training carried out by the new Council soon identified the need for an internal directory.

Developed inhouse, the directory provides a profile of all Council personnel. This includes both outdoor and indoor staff and elected members. Attractively presented, the directory includes photographs of all personnel involved with Council.

The ring bound folder features laminated sheets, side indexed for quick reference to all areas such as Corporate Services, Planning and Development and elected members. Changes can be easily accommodated.

Staff photographs are accompanied by an outline of their duties and responsibilities. Elected members’ entries carry a personal profile of their community activities and interests. At the front of the directory is an outline of Council’s organisational structure and at the end a collection of general information, including an alphabetical phone listing of staff.

A clear map showing the locations of community facilities, accommodation and local transport services is also included.

“This resource is available for all staff and is very useful as part of our induction program for new staff,” said Jacki Skinner, Organisational Development Officer.
