Solar the superior energy

No electricity bills ever, virtually maintenance free, easy low cost installation, a choice of modern or heritage styles, and no underground or overhead services, it makes perfect sense why Rockdale City Council selected solar pathway lighting by Solar Technology Australia as part of a recent park upgrade.

Council wanted the clean, sustainable energy that solar power provides. Designed and made in Australia and meeting all relevant Australian Standards, solar lighting is ideal for streets, parks, picnic areas, playgrounds, carparks, camping areas, sports complexes, marinas, buildings, jetties the list goes on.

It is also ideal for illuminating notice cases and information bays.

Solar lights turn on automatically at sunset and run until dawn or a pre-set time. Each system is designed to suit the particular location. Solar lighting means easier, cheaper installation anywhere. One hole, one pole and no trenching, cabling or resurfacing expenditure avoids expensive excavating, cabling and resurfacing.

Solar Technology Australia offers Councils a complete advisory service for all their outdoor lighting needs.

“We can advise on all aspects of solar lighting including, design, cost and installation,” said Graeme McMullan, Managing Director, Solar Technology Australia. “We can also show you successful case histories on outdoor lighting covering illuminated signs, street lighting and all aspects of open area lighting. Just give us a call and we will put our two decades of solar power experience to work for you. We can arrange solar supply, installation and maintenance.
