Safe surfaces reduce risk

Logic Australia Pty Ltd manufactures a range of ‘safety surface solutions’ for a broad range of customers looking to manage risk against injury at work, home or at play.

Councils face a range of risk management issues including;

  • staff standing for prolonged periods on hard surfaces
  • wheelchair access to community facilities
  • recreation centres
  • slip and trip hazards in public places
  • soft-fall requirements in playgrounds
  • ongoing maintenance of playgrounds to keep clean of ‘sharps’ and other dangerous objects.

Logic offers a range of products to assist Council manage these risks. They are both durable and simple to install by Council maintenance teams or, in the case of playgrounds, surfacing can be installed by Logic’s experienced team.

Those products include;

  • Rubber Safe Surfaces“ – safety pads for under swings and slides or whole of playground application, together with mats made to specification. Made from recycled tyres, these product are made to comply with the Australian and New Zealand soft-fall standards.
  • Inter-Lok Flooring“ – providing a range of interlocking anti-fatigue and anti-slip mats, Lokmat“, which are durable, can be configured to any size and are easy to install. The Lokmat‚ is made from recycled plastic.
  • Logic Rubber“ – providing a range of safety flooring products to suit specific needs.
