FOCUS website turns ten

It is now ten years since we started putting all editions of Local Government FOCUS online.

Our site (www.lgfocus.com.au) provides readers with the option of accessing editions online, and is a great reference tool for researching the issues and initiatives we have covered over this period. It is a very useful archive of what has happened in Local Government around the nation over the past decade.

We recently added Really Simple Syndication (RSS) to the site. This enables Councils or individuals to receive a free streaming service of the key articles as each new edition is added to our website. From this users can link to our website to access the full edition and all past editions back to May 1996.

A number of Councils have now included these FOCUS streams on their intranet. Some Councils have added it to their community website.
