Volvo in waste handling*

In the landfill, around the recycling facility, through the scrap pile and on the demolition site, Volvo Construction Equipment has machines built for the unique and demanding needs of the waste handling industry.  Volvo delivers strength and reliability, excellent visibility on the jobsite, protected components and powerful performance.

The shift is long and the conditions are tough, but Volvo keeps your staff productive and profitable, with machines that are not just powerful, but also safe to operate, easy to keep running and comfortable to work in. Completing the range, the launch of the L60F, L70F, L90F, L110F and L120F gives Volvo Construction Equipment the most modern fleet of general purpose wheel loaders on the market.

Offering more manoeuvrability, power, productivity, flexibility and reliability, the F Series is also a more comfortable and safer place to be. Volvo CE pioneered the ‘all rounder’ approach to wheel loaders and these new models continue to evolve the concept. These great all rounders are easy to operate in tight spaces and can quickly swap tools to suit fast changing application demands on site.

New software adapts to the operator’s style of driving, optimising gear changing parameters and saving fuel by always selecting the right gear.

The fact that all major components of the driveline (engine, transmission, axles) are designed and built by Volvo means that they work in harmony, in terms of performance, reliability and also fuel efficiency. In addition to being flexible, productive, safe, comfortable and reliable, the all-new F series machines are also environmentally minded, being up to 95 per cent recyclable.
