The new imperative for Local Government
The Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) is hosting the National Local Government Shared Services Conference, part of its Future of Local Government process. To be staged on 5 and 6 June at the Treasury Theatre in Melbourne, this event will provide concentrated knowledge on how shared services support the retention of local autonomy.
The program includes case studies of successful council collaborative projects, the critical success factors for shared services, the advantages of shared services documented, tools to assist councils and information on how councils can get involved.
This is a must attend event for Councillors, corporate services managers, systems managers, organisation development managers, finance managers and community services managers.
