The Government has established new working groups under the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) arrangements which will see greater cooperation between jurisdictions and Local Government on major issues. The Australian Local Government Association (ALGA) represents Local Government on the working groups most important to Local Government – Infrastructure, Housing Affordability and Climate Change.
