Btech wins war on graffiti*

Unfortunately, graffiti is on the increase Australia wide, and dealing with the problem results in a high cost issue to the community and directly impacts on the budgets of Local Governments.

The reduction of graffiti has to be handled from several positions: education, policing and swift removal.

Barricade Technologies Pty Ltd (Btech) is a technically advanced company formed in Sydney in 1998 for the express purpose of developing environmentally friendly and cost effective products to combat graffiti.

The directors of Btech have over 30 years’ experience in the chemical/coatings industry and have focused their technical experience into developing products that make removal of graffiti simple and safe. Btech’s products have been designed with simplicity in mind and are specifically formulated to remove graffiti from the most porous surfaces, such as stone, brick and masonry.

Sensitive removers are also available for delicate surfaces, such as plastic signs, perspex bus shelters and colourbond fences. These removers carry a range of protection systems to facilitate the ease of removal, without the need for strong chemicals. Simply apply hot water pressure and the graffiti is gone.

Btech products are exported to the UK and Europe and supply many of the larger councils and graffiti removalist contractors in Australia.
