IT2011 – back to the future*

This highly successful IT conference is going back to where it all began. This year, the IT conference team at Coffs Harbour City Council has decided to revisit our previous venue in Opal Cove resort.

Our last conference at Opal Cove was in 2003. The resort has undergone significant development and refurbishment since then, and we are confident of providing a quality conference experience for our growing list of sponsors and delegates.

The Theme for this year’s conference is MOBILITY.

As Technology becomes smaller and more mobile – new and exciting challenges arise for Local Government. Smart Phones, IPADs and Tablet PCs are becoming the norm, and integration with Council systems becomes paramount.

The conference seeks to help the Local Government IT professional, by providing Information, skills and education to deal with these changes.

IT2011 is scheduled for 15 to 18 November 2011 in beautiful Coffs Harbour, New South Wales.

The conference provides a forum for Local Government managers and support staff to network, learn and exchange ideas. It has grown into the premier Local Government IT event and a benchmark for others to follow.

2011 marks the 14th year for this highly successful
