DRILL 2012: ‘Drilling into the Future’

DRILL 2012: ‘Drilling into the Future’ is even bigger than Drill 2010, with more features, such as pre-conference workshops and seminars, more exhibitors, and an open afternoon for associated professionals and students.

The conference, an initiative of the Australian Drilling Industry Association (ADIA), is returning to the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) for four days, from Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st September.

There will over 100 display stands representing over 80 exhibitors. Exhibitions include large capital equipment (drill rigs, trucks, compressors, boosters etc); drilling tools, fluids and consumables; and small service-based organisations.

In addition, we are planning two days of free workshops and seminars designed to give attendees an opportunity to learn about various management skills and the latest in drilling systems and techniques.

These workshops and seminars will be held on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th September. If you wish to register for these, email adia@adia.com.au. Check our website for all the details.

We have assembled an outstanding array of speakers, based on the theme ‘Drilling into the Future’, who will address both the array of new technologies and the perennial issues and challenges facing those in the drilling industries.

On the afternoon of Wednesday 19 September, the exhibition hall will be opened up to university students, school leavers, geologists, hydrologists, specifiers and local government and mining engineers.

Admission will be free of charge but, for security reasons, all those intending to come to the open day on the Wednesday must pre-register.
If you wish to be part of this huge event, featuring all the key suppliers, drilling contractors and technical specialists, contact the Australian Drilling Industry Association – ‘The voice of the drilling industry’: www.adia.com.au.
