Finding, submitting or simply browsing events in the Bundaberg Region has just become easier with the launch of Bundaberg Regional Council’s new events website.
All major Council events, such as Bundy in Bloom, Pageant of Lights and Chinese New Year Celebrations, can be found on the homepage and it’s just a matter of conducting a simple search to find community submitted events as well.
Council’s Community Services Portfolio Spokesperson, Councillor Judy Peters, said the new website had an advanced search engine that allowed users to choose the type of event, date range or location.
“We’ve now made it super easy to find events, as opposed to the original model where you had to scroll through the month’s events. A local company was used to design and build the new website in conjunction with Council’s own Corporate Applications Team,” Cr Peters said.
“It is now easier for groups to submit their events online, and the new site allows for better promotion of both community and Council events.”
