ALGWA Pathways to Success 2015

The Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) is inviting attendees to book now for its 2015 Pathways to Success conference taking place in the Central Victorian township of Seymour.

Mitchell Shire Council is hosting the 2015 ALGWA conference from Friday 22 May to Saturday 23 May.

This year’s conference theme is ‘Pathways to Success.’

The Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) functions in an advisory capacity to assist in furthering knowledge and understanding of the function of local government nationally.

Since 1951, the association has worked to encourage women to participate and make careers in local government while also protecting the interests and rights of women already working in local government.

This year’s line-up of presenters and topics are sure to captivate participants and inspire women to realise the success they can drive in their own career paths.

Experts and professionals speaking at the event include The Hon. Natalie Hutchins MP, Victorian Minister for Local Government, Dr. Ron Ben-David from the Essential Services Commission, Suzanna Sheed MP, Professor Jill Keeffe OAM and a diverse range of motivational speakers.

Spaces and accommodation are limited for the event. For more information visit www.facebook.com/ALGWAvic2015
