Grants bring action packed events

From bucking broncos at country campdrafts to a tennis tournament in Middlemount, Isaac Regional Council has given grants to bring action packed events to the region.

Mayor Anne Baker said she congratulated sports clubs and organisations who gained a share in the funding.

“The latest grants will see some exciting events take place in our communities.

“The Nebo Bushman’s Carnival, Clermont Rodeo, Middlemount Tennis Open, NAIDOC Week, and Yushin-Kai Karate Club have all received Council support.

“Local organisations are the backbone of community life and I encourage eligible groups to apply for a grant, to benefit their community”.

The Nebo Bushman’s Carnival Inc. will hold their ‘Nebo 60 years and Gallipoli 100 Years Reunion Draft’ in June.
