Solar street and pathway lighting a reliable alternative*

In the past, solar lighting was expensive, complicated, and unreliable, especially on cloudy days. In 2011, the team at Green Frog Systems Australia won a federal contract to design from scratch a new solar lighting product range that has since gained enormous popularity in councils across Australia.

We have developed a range of products that are designed to be installed by councils own work crews, without the need for an electrician or a screwdriver. All kits simply work out of the box without the need for complicated programming and timers to mess with. This has been achieved by considerable advancements in LED, solar, battery technology and controllers, and in most cases achieves higher reliability than grid-powered lighting systems, especially in remote areas.   

Many councils are using our solar lights in black spot intersections, and in areas subject to high vandalism or prone to flooding. Our largest clients are councils where mains power is limited or too costly to install. As the units are fully Australian-approved and developed for our conditions, we have proven our position as a leading supplier of solar lighting at competitive pricing, shipping all over Australia.
