The Meredith Community Learning Hub brings together a wide range of facilities and promises to offer great value for Meredith and surrounding communities.

The funding for this  redevelopment was received from the Victorian Government, Federal Government, Meredith kindergarten committee, Meredith Community Learning Centre Committee of Management and Golden Plains Shire Council.

Already operational, the facility offers a Community House, Meredith Kindergarten, Occasional Child Care, Maternal and Child Health and a sessional space for agencies based in Geelong & Ballarat such as family counselling.

Mayor, Councillor Des Phelan said, “The project has been a great success, and the local community has been enthusiastic and involved since day one.

“Council is excited that the people of Meredith and surrounding areas now have access to such a fantastic facility and resource that will serve as a “one stop shop” for families.

“Council is glad to celebrate the opening of this fantastic resource and want to congratulate all involved.”
