The Australian Human Resources Institute’s (AHRI) National Convention and Exhibition is Australia’s flagship event for human resources (HR) practitioners and business leaders.
This annual event attracts over 3,300 attendees from around the world each year, to hear from local and global thought leaders on the big issues facing HR and business.
The 2017 AHRI National Convention is taking a deep dive into the themes of innovation, collaboration and creating a high performance culture. The event is billed as the place ‘Where HR meets’ bringing together speakers including global thought leaders ranging from HR luminary Dave Ulrich and bestselling author and executive coach Dr Lois Frankel, to tech and behaviour expert Matt Wallaert and innovation psychologist Amantha Imber. The event will be an intersection of new ideas from HR, business and tech.
As with previous years, the Convention includes a dedicated Public Sector Conference in addition to the main program.
Anna Bligh AC, the first female Premier of Queensland will join convention favourite Dr Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic at the Public Sector Conference to talk about topical HR issues pertinent to the government sector.
The AHRI National Convention is an unrivalled professional development opportunity to expand your network, get up to date on the latest trends in HR and business and take new ideas back to the workplace.
This years’ National Convention and Exhibition will be held in the International Convention Centre Sydney from 21-23 August 2017 (extended program 21-24 August).
