The Australian Human Resources (HR) Institute’s National Convention and Exhibition is Australia’s flagship event for HR practitioners and business leaders.
More than 3300 attendees from around the world each year attend this annual event to hear local and global thought leaders speak about big issues facing HR and business.
The convention will delve into the themes of innovation, ethics, collaboration and creating a high-performance culture.
Billed as ‘Where HR meets’, the convention brings together speakers including Charles Handy, the world’s greatest management visionary; Lynda Gratton, a global expert on the interface between people and organisations; and Jason Fox, leadership advisor and motivation design expert.
The event will be an intersection of new ideas from HR, business and technology.
As with previous years, the convention includes a dedicated Public Sector Conference in addition to the main program.
Sir Bob Parker, former Christchurch City Mayor, will join Kerri Hartland, Secretary of Department of Jobs and Small Business and other HR leaders at the Public Sector Conference to talk about topical HR issues pertinent to the government sector.
The AHRI National Convention is an unrivalled professional development opportunity to expand your network, get up to date on the latest trends in HR and business, and take new ideas back to the workplace.
This year’s National Convention and Exhibition will be held in the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from Tuesday 28 – Thursday 30 August 2018 (extended program 28-31 August).
