More than 3,000 HR professionals and business leaders from around the world each year attend Australia’s flagship HR event to hear local and global thought leaders speak about the big issues facing HR and business.
This year, British organisational theorist Lynda Gratton and other renowned global thinkers and leaders will share insights on the future of work, ethics, collaboration and creating a high-performance culture, at the AHRI National Convention.
An award-winning management thinker and author, Grattan said, “HR needs to shift the focus from the now into the long-term and help organisations realise some of the big trends that are going to shape work.”
She is also the founder of the Hot Spots Movement which brings the latest thinking on the future of work into organisations.
Technology will undeniably be at the forefront of our future working lives, and that is exactly why we need to factor humans back into the equation, says Gratton.
“HR need to be guardians of good work,” she explains. “People flourish when they do good work, so [HR is crucial in] helping people to find the work that gives them some sort of autonomy so that they can be innovative, and work that allows them to build strong relationships and networks with others.”
At the AHRI National Convention, Gratton will explore HR’s critical role in future proofing your business, and examine how HR can help organisations look ahead and steer their workforce in the right direction.
