Fraser Coast, Queensland, has launched a new quarterly booklet to keep residents up to date with what’s on at the library.
Fraser Coast Mayor, George Seymour, said library users would have information about the libraries’ wide range of events and programs at their fingertips, all in one What’s On library booklet.
“Whether it’s Rattle and Rhyme for babies, digital photography workshops for young adults, meditation for adults or author talks for everyone, the details will be included in the new booklet.
“It’s a fantastic step forward for us to bring together all of the information in one handout so it’s easy to find.
“Libraries have become community living rooms where people can connect with knowledge and with each other.
“All of our events are free to attend so we hope more people will learn about the terrific activities we have on offer and join in.”
The Mayor said the What’s On Libraries booklet was divided into colour-coded sections for children, young adults, adults and everyone.
“It also includes the library locations, opening hours, contact details and public holiday closures for March, April
and May.
The What’s On Autumn edition is available at any of the Fraser Coast libraries or can be viewed online.
“It will also soon be available at Council administration offices, visitor information centres and other venues throughout the region.”
